Trying SellyPOS with a few products
FreeWhat SellyPOS does
Your staff work at your till, so SellyPOS knows who each person is, what they may do, and whether they earn commission on their sales. You give each person only the screens and actions their job needs, and every sensitive change is written down.
Every shop has more than one pair of hands. A cashier takes the next customer, a manager signs off a refund, and the owner wants to know who did what on a busy Saturday. This page explains how SellyPOS keeps each of them in their own lane, from the first sign-in to the end of the month.
You do not need to learn the whole software before the first sale. A cashier types a four-digit PIN to take over the till, and a manager's approval appears over the sale without the cart being lost. Staff can change their own password or PIN, and the administrator is set up once, at the start.
Nothing matches “”.
Try a shorter word, or fewer words. You can also browse the sections below.
Pick your name, type your PIN, and the till is yours. The first sign-in after the till starts still asks for a password.
A till left alone, a long day, a wrong PIN. These controls keep the cart, the held sales and the till as they were, and keep the wrong person out.
Some changes need a second person. You decide how far each role can go, and by default the person who asks cannot approve their own request.
Set up who can do what before the first shift, and change it when people move on. Nobody sees a screen or button they do not need, and the last active administrator cannot be removed by mistake.
Managers look at the numbers by person, not only by day. Each report has one row for each person, and on the sales report a cashier sees their own row.
The record keeps each sensitive action with its before and after values. Nobody can change or remove those records from inside the application, not even an administrator.
Attendance works one day at a time. Set the holidays once, then mark your team in with a tap and put right anything you missed.
Each person's pay starts from a date you choose, and the earlier terms stay in their history. From there you pay, check the statement and settle everything when someone leaves.
Turn commission on in Setup, then each salesperson earns at the shop's rate or a rate of their own. Commission is held for a set number of days, then paid on a payslip, and a void takes it back.
Set up the sign-in and the roles first, then add your staff one at a time. Each sensitive change is written down as it happens, so you can look back at any day and see who did what.
