Download SellyPOS

Start with Lite, free for ever, or try Professional free for 7 days. Both install on the computer at your counter and keep selling with no internet.

Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. Looking for Basic? Compare every edition, or find the one that suits you.

What happens after you install

  1. Sign in with Google. This registers your shop with Selly Systems, so we can help you if you ever lose access.
  2. Choose your country. SellyPOS sets your currency, number and date formats and time zone from it.
  3. Add your business details and a few products, or skip them and add them later.
  4. Make your first sale. The Sales screen opens ready to sell.

Step-by-step help: Installing SellyPOS on Windows.

Quad-core, such as an Intel Core i5 or equivalent

Hardware it works with

All optional. SellyPOS sells with a keyboard and a screen alone.

Receipt printer
Thermal printers that use ESC/POS, 58 mm or 80 mm, over USB, Bluetooth or your network. No printer? Receipts are saved as PDF.
Barcode scanner
USB scanners that type like a keyboard, which most do. They work the moment they are plugged in.
Cash drawer
A drawer plugged into the receipt printer, opened from SellyPOS.
Weighing scale
Labels printed by a scale with the weight or price in the barcode are read at the counter.
Label printer Professional
Barcode labels on ESC/POS, TSPL or ZPL label printers, or on A4 label sheets.
Customer display Professional
A second monitor facing the customer, or a pole display.
Several counters Professional
Every counter on the same shop network, with the network set to Private in Windows. The installer opens the ports it needs.

Questions people ask

Can I move from Lite or Basic to a higher edition later?

Yes. Pay the difference to Selly Systems, receive the higher licence, and install the higher edition over the same computer. Your data stays where it is: every edition uses the same records. A paid licence never moves down an edition.

How long is the free trial?

Basic and Professional each start with a 7-day free trial. A shop gets one trial, whichever edition it runs. When the trial ends, SellyPOS keeps selling, and the other screens wait until you activate a licence.

Why does Windows say "unknown publisher" when I install SellyPOS?

The installer is not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so Windows SmartScreen cannot name the publisher. If you downloaded it from sellypos.com, choose More info, then Run anyway. Step-by-step help.

Which computers does SellyPOS run on?

Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11, 64-bit. At least a dual-core processor (such as an Intel Core i3), 4 GB of memory, 500 MB of free disk space and a 1366 × 768 screen; a quad-core processor, 8 GB of memory and an SSD are recommended. SellyPOS is a native Windows program, so it runs on the computer itself, not in a browser. Versions for macOS and Linux are planned. Full system requirements.
