Does SellyPOS work without internet?
Yes. The till finishes a sale with no internet connection. You need internet once, to sign in with Google and set up your shop, and from time to time to check your licence and updates.
Is SellyPOS Lite really free?
Yes, for ever: no trial, no licence and no lock. Lite holds up to 20 products, shows the last 7 days of sales history and returns, and has no backup, restore, import or export. When you need more, install Basic or Professional over the same data.
Which computers does SellyPOS run on?
Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11, 64-bit. At least a dual-core processor (such as an Intel Core i3), 4 GB of memory, 500 MB of free disk space and a 1366 × 768 screen; a quad-core processor, 8 GB of memory and an SSD are recommended. SellyPOS is a native Windows program, so it runs on the computer itself, not in a browser. Versions for macOS and Linux are planned. Full system requirements.
Where is my shop's data kept?
On your computer. Your sales, products, customers and stock never leave it. Selly Systems keeps only a small account record (who you are and which shop you registered) so we can help you recover access. See the privacy policy.
