How it works
- Hold the current sale and give it a name the cashier will recognise, such as the customer’s name.
- The cart clears, and the cashier serves the next customer straight away.
- Recall the held sale when the customer comes back. Every line is where it was.
Held sales are saved like any other record, so they survive a restart too.
Questions people ask
Does SellyPOS work without internet?
Yes. Selling never needs a connection: every sale is saved on the computer's own disk before the receipt prints, so a dropped connection, a power cut or a crash does not lose it. You need internet once, to sign in with Google and set up your shop, and from time to time to check your licence and updates.
