Start from the original sale
Find the sale the customer bought, choose the lines and quantities coming back and the reason, and refund the customer. For an exchange, add what they are taking instead and settle only the difference.

Editing a sale after the fact would change what your records say happened, and nobody could tell. SellyPOS keeps the original sale exactly as it was and records the return as a new document linked to it. Your totals are right, and your history is true.

Can I edit a sale after it is finished?
No, and that is deliberate. A finished sale stays exactly as it was. To correct it, make a return or an exchange against it: SellyPOS links the two, so your records show what happened and when.
