Know where your money is, and whether the shop made a profit
Every amount that comes into or goes out of your shop has a place here. You see your accounts, your expenses and your profit, and you can check any figure back to the entries behind it.
This area is for the shop owner and for whoever keeps the books at the end of the day. It holds your bank and cash accounts, what customers owe you, what you owe suppliers and staff, and the expenses you write down.
The figures here are the ones you see at closing time, so you do not have to add them up by hand. A check after the shop starts, after a restore and after each catch-up also tells you when the books stop matching customers, suppliers and stock.

Highlights
- Find out whether the shop made a profit See whether the shop made a profit this month, with nothing to set up Open Statements from the Reports menu. It opens on this month's profit and loss, so the answer is there without any adding up.
- Look after store credit vouchers Find any store credit voucher by its number, name, phone or QR code You type a few letters of a name, a number or a phone, or scan the voucher's QR code. The voucher comes up with what is left on it.
- Keep track of every account and what is owed Add a new bank account, or archive one you no longer use You add an account with its kind, name, bank, number and any money already in it on a date. An account with a zero balance can be archived.
- Start the day, take the money and check the till Let your shop's day run past midnight, so late sales land on the right day You set the hour your business day starts, such as 06:00. A sale made at 01:30 then counts towards the day you were trading, not the next day.
- Keep staff pay and wages in the right place Each wage, advance and loan paid from cash in hand is named in its statement The Cash in hand statement names each wage, advance and loan, and each line links to its document. You open the link and see what the payment was for.
- Write down what the shop pays out Write down what the shop paid out, so the day's figures add up You enter what was paid, its category, the amount and the account it came out of. The expense and the money leaving that account are recorded together.
