A day runs from opening to closing, and each step below is one you meet at the counter.
5 things it does
Let your shop's day run past midnight, so late sales land on the right day
In the settings, choose the time your business day begins, for example 06:00. The day's figures then run from that time, not from midnight. The day's figures follow your trading day, not the calendar.

Be told when the books stop matching customers, suppliers and stock
Money customers owe, money owed to suppliers, store credit and stock are compared. The Books mark on the status strip stays out of sight when everything agrees, and names the first difference when it does not. Only people who may see profit and the balance sheet see the check. It reports and never repairs; a correction is your decision.

Let the till take card, bank transfer and mobile wallet, not only cash
Turn on the payment methods your shop takes, such as card, bank transfer and a mobile wallet, and turn off the ones it does not. Put them in the order your cashier reaches for them. You can add a method, rename it, and give it a shortcut on the payment screen. A method you retire is archived, not deleted, and past sales keep the name they were paid by.

Give a customer printed proof of the money they have just paid
After you record a customer's payment, press Print beside it. The receipt goes to the counter's receipt printer. The customer's account statement can be printed from the same panel.

See what your cash, bank and wallet accounts hold, on one page
Open Reports, then Financial, and choose Bank and till. There is one row for each cash, bank and wallet account. Select a row to open that account in Money.
