Trying SellyPOS with a few products
FreeWhat SellyPOS does
Every customer can have a record, a balance and a credit limit of their own. SellyPOS shows who owes you and who you owe, and takes their payments as they come in.
This page is for you, the shop owner, and for the person who works the counter. Many grocery stores let regular customers pay later, and SellyPOS keeps a clear account for each one. You no longer need to remember who owes what.
Start a customer with only a name or a phone number, and fill in the rest when you have it. Decide how much each customer may owe and how many days they have to pay. A credit sale over the limit is stopped, and the screen tells you why, so the sale is not lost.
Money moves both ways on the same account. Receive a payment from the customer's row and the oldest debt goes first, and a refund on a credit sale lowers what is owed before any cash leaves the drawer. Statements show each line and the balance after it, and also list counter sales and purchases from the customer. You can share them on WhatsApp or save them as a PDF.

Try a shorter word, or fewer words. You can also browse the sections below.
Add a customer with what you have, and put each one in a group such as Wholesale or Dealer. Each group can also have its own discount percentage.
Find a customer by a few letters of a name, a phone number or a code. Old customers can be archived, and personal details can be kept from staff who should not see them.
A limit can be set for one customer, for a group, or for the whole shop. Each customer also has a credit period in days, which sets when their credit invoices fall due.
Credit is only for a named customer. These are the steps a sale follows when a customer buys now and pays later.
The customers page shows the balance of every customer in one list. Each balance is written in plain words, so you read the answer without working out a sign.
Open a customer's account to see every amount owed and paid, in date order. Sales paid at the counter and what you bought from them are listed as well, and you can send the account for any period you choose.
Money you receive is written against the customer and lowers what they owe. A payment entered by mistake can be voided, and the original stays on record.
A return on a credit sale lowers the debt first. You can also give store credit instead of cash, with an end date, and the customer spends it later.
Once every customer's account sits in one place, you stop keeping it in your head. Look at the Credit page at the end of each week, and send a reminder to anyone who is late. Begin with the customers you trust most, and the rest will follow.
