Attendance works one day at a time. Set the holidays once, then mark your team in with a tap and put right anything you missed.
5 things it does
Set the weekly holiday, the working day and the holidays in one place
Choose the weekly holiday, one or more days. Set the standard working day in hours and the half-day threshold, and say how work on a day off is counted. The first day of the week is the one set under Formats, shown here. SellyPOS does not come with a list of public holidays, so you add each holiday by hand, such as Eid, which moves with the moon.

Mark your team present for the day in a single step
On Today, choose Mark everyone present. A question appears before anything changes, and you confirm it. Esc, or the first button, keeps everyone as they are. If the change is refused, the question stays open so you can try again.
One question marks the whole team present, and says how many have not been marked yet.Professional only
Write down when each person came in and left with one tap
Open Today and tap Came in now beside each person as they arrive. Tap Left now when they go home. The time recorded is the moment you tap, and you cannot type it in. Those two taps work for today only. For an earlier day, open the month register, where each person's days sit in a grid, and change that day there.

A forgotten clock-out is flagged for you to fix, never guessed
If a person has come in but has not left, Today shows a strip for them to fix. You type the time they left, and nothing is filled in for you. In the month register that day carries a dot, so you can see at a glance which days need a look. Pay for that person is held until the exit time is typed, or until you pay up to the last complete day.

Fix a past day's attendance, and see what it does to a payslip first
Open the month register and click the day you want to change. The day panel shows its status, its times, its source and who marked it. If a payslip already covers that day, the panel says so, and its times are held. You can still change its status, and the panel shows the change, such as Present to Absent, beside the payslip it is on. Saving then records the change, and the register marks that day as changed after it was on a payslip.
